The Affordable Care Act in Rhode Island’s Libraries

With the implementation of the Affordable Care Act coming up on October 1, libraries are entering the
unique role “to providing essential e-government services, and develop best practices and train staff to deliver these essential services.” In Rhode Island, OLIS and the Governor’s office have built a resource page for essential information about the ACA. The OCLC WebJunction page on eHealth is especially useful for librarians, with news, webinars, and ways to get your library more involved in enacting this change.
